Introduction
Speech index records are created to provide a bibliographic guide to citations to speeches in the General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council and Trusteeship Council.

The speech index records are compiled into Index to Speeches (ITS) and published by the Dag Hammarskjöld Library as the second part of the Index to Proceedings.

The Index to Speeches is subdivided into three sections, arranged alphabetically:

  • Corporate names/countries
  • Speakers
  • Subjects
