The UNBIS Thesaurus is the authoritative taxonomy used by major United Nations libraries for subject analysis. It is also the tool for subject searches in the United Nations Bibliographic Information System (UNBISnet) (http://unbisnet.un.org/), the freely accessible web version of DHL's catalogue as well as in the United Nations Official Document System (ODS --- http://www.ods.un.org/), the password-protected central repository for UN documentation.

Users are encouraged to send comments and suggestions to the DHL Webmaster, dhl_www@un.org, so that the site can be continually improved in response to users' needs.
