International Conference
on
Mine Clearance Technology

2 - 4 July 1996
Copenhangen, Denmark

This Conference was convened in order to examine ways to improve mine clearance technology for mine affected developing countries, and to discuss standards for the various aspects of mine clearance operation. Rather than focus on the political, social, or economic impacts of mine clearance, the Conference was primarily devoted to new technology developments.

A key component of the conference was an exhibit of the latest demining technologies. In addition, there was an outdoor demonstration of specific demining equipment.
