MISSION OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SECRETARY-GENERAL IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC


LOCATION: Dominican Republic

HEADQUARTERS: Santo Domingo

DURATION: May 1965 - October 1966

STRENGTH: The Military Adviser to the Representative of the Secretary-General was provided with a staff of 2 military observers

FATALITIES: None

EXPENDITURES: $275,831

FUNCTION: Established to observe the situation and to report on breaches of the cease-fire between the two de facto authorities in the Dominican Republic. Following the agreement on a new Government, DOMREP was withdrawn
